8. Will the climate factor affect the printing quality of compatible cartridges?
The best storing temperature range for cartridges to obtain best printing quality is 10 0C ¡V 35 0C. If storing in high or freezing temperature for long time will definitely affect the printing performance.

9. Can remove the clear plastic strip on the cartridge?
No. This affects the vacuum within the cartridge and may cause leaking or prevent printing.

10. Will a compatible cartridge damage the printer?
No. All our compatible cartridges have been rigorously tested by our quality control department to ensure no printer damage will occur.

11. When the cartridge¡¦s nozzles are blocked by dried ink (dye-base), how to do?
Place the clogged cartridge into the dish which filled with warm water and just cover the nozzles. Immerse them until dried ink begins to flow freely from nozzles and wait for several minutes after dried ink flow out, remove the nozzles from the water and gently dry with soft tissue or cloth. Install the cartridge to the printer again and run the self-cleaning program to clean the print head. Repeat the above procedure if appropriate.

12. Will a compatible cartridge print the same amount as an OEM cartridge?
Our compatible cartridge will print at least the same amount, and in normal condition more than OEM cartridge. On most new printer models the software in the printer dictates how much a cartridge can print. The compatible cartridges are designed to print the correct quantities where the printer dictates.

13. Can use an OEM cartridge once after used a compatible cartridge?
Yes. Our compatible cartridge will not affect the printer if wish to switch back to OEM, however, we are confident that once you have tried our high quality product, you will have no reason to use back OEM cartridge.

14. What is the difference between Dye and Pigment Ink?
Dye ink is water-base and Pigment ink is oil-base. Dye ink is more cost effective, however, the printing quality is not better than pigment ink in the aspect of waterproof and color fast.

15. Is INK LAB¡¦s ink exactly the same as OEM¡¦s ink?
No. INK LAB do research and develop ink which are specially formulated to deliver the printing result as close as possible to OEM¡¦s ink.

Cleaning Cartridges

1. The ink cartridge is depleted, how to solve?
Install a Cleaning Cartridge to remove the particles which cause blocking of the print head. Cleaning Cartridge may also be used before each installation of a new cartridge to maintain the print head in good condition.

2. Does the solvent of the Cleaning Cartridge damage the print head?
Experiments have been conducted to prove that the solvent is not corrosive to the print head and, therefore, no damage is experienced.

3. Can the Cleaning Cartridge clean the print head?
Our cleaning cartridge is able to dissolve the substance such as air bubbles, precipitants and dried ink which cause clogging effectively. If the substance is removed, printing quality will be improved.

4. After cleaning with cleaning cartridge, the printer cannot work. Why?
The print head is damaging or aging as the cleaning cartridge is used to remove the substances which caused print head clogging.

Refill Kits

1. After refilling my cartridge, no image is printed.
Air may be blocking the nozzles or there is insufficient ink to reach the nozzle. Refer to user instructions for refilling procedure. It is important that you apply the air pump and press at least 3 times until a drop of ink reaches the print head nozzle. Wipe the excess droplets carefully use tissue to absorb any unnecessary ink around the ink outlet.

2. How many times can the cartridge be refilled?
Most of the cartridges, once in good condition (if the print head not scratched, clogged or has been left out to dry), can be refilled many times.

Laser Cartridges

1. The printer print nothing only blank pages. Why?
If the laser door in the printer doesn¡¦t open, the laser bean cannot reach the OPC surface. Hence, there is no discharge on the OPC surface and no toner transfer. A broken OPC shutter door will stop image transfer from the OPC to the paper surface

2. During printing, sometimes can get dark (grayish) horizontal lines on the page. Why?
The magnetic roller bushing, which is responsible for the development gap, may be damaged or out of round. When this occurs, more toner may be transferred to the surface of the OPC than was required for the latent image. The extra toner that was transferred may appear on the page as a grayish horizontal line. The line may repeat in exact measurements or vary slightly from rotation to rotation

3. Why does the printer sometimes cannot detect a cartridge after install one type of     remanufactured cartridge, but not when install another one?
Hold the cartridge going to install in the printer and examine the right back corner. There should be at least one sensitivity tab in place, otherwise the printer won¡¦t recognize the cartridge. If there are no sensitivity tabs, you will need to install one.

4. The printer continues to print with black and muddy pages. Why?
Please check with the PCR. If the PCR contact is damaged, the OPC surface would not receive a new charge acceptance. Hence, toner will be attracted to the surface of the OPC.

5. The printer print pages contain small black dots. Why?
Small black dots on the pages may due to a nick in the drum or PCR roller. Foreign objects in the printer or paper dust can scratch the drum. There is no fix for this as the drum is ruined already. Please change a new toner cartridge.

6. What is the best environment to store Compatible Toner Cartridges?
Please store in a dry place and below 350C and avoid exposure to direct sunlight

7. Why does my page come out with lines and dots every few inches or so down the page?
The toner cartridge drum may have been damaged or exposed to light source outside of the printer for too long. Keep the Cartridge inside the printer for several hours then try and run several test pages to see if the markings still exist. If the dots that repeat every few inches apart, the drum has likely been damaged and the only way to correct this would be to replace a new cartridge.

8. What is Remanufactured Toner Cartridges?
Remanufactured Toner Cartridges are made by third party manufacturer who take empty toner cartridges and remanufacture them to work like new cartridges without holes cut or drilled.

9. How to know the toner content and page count of Remanufactured cartridge compared to OEM?
Type of toner and content (qty. in grams) is dependent upon printer / cartridge model. We use precise toner dispensing systems to fill each cartridge accurately with the same or more than OEM specified amount of toner. Hence, a remanufactured cartridge will yield the same as an OEM cartridge at industry standard 5% page coverage when using standard business letter. Also, peak performance can be achieved by adjusting the density setting and/or resolution on the printer.

10. How can remanufactured toner cartridges contribute to the environment? Why should we switch       from OEM to Remanufactured Cartridges?
An empty toner cartridge adds approximately 5 pounds of unnecessary wastes to landfills. Using remanufacturing printer cartridges, over 80 million pounds of plastic and metal are saved from landfills each year. Also, the plastic used in each printer cartridge will take over one thousand years to decompose.
The reason to switch from OEM to Remanufactured cartridges, not only the obvious environmental benefits of recycling, but also there is tremendous cost savings.

11. Will Remanufactured toner cartridges damage the laser printer?
Each of the remanufactured toner cartridges is meticulously checked and double check to ensure that it cannot cause damage to the laser printer. Our Remanufactured toner cartridges use the same OEM cartridges core and function to that of OEM one. Every part of the cartridge is carefully examined during the remanufacturing process. We will also replace the old components with new ones of the same standard and functional purpose as OEM.

12. Using Compatible toner cartridges can help to save money?
Typically, you spend on printer $1, you will spend on around $7 on toner cartridges during it¡¦s normal life of 5 years. Compatible toner cartridges can save up to 30-50% upon OEM cost!!

13. Why do I get fewer print pages of Compatible toner cartridges than OEM claims I will get?
OEM toner cartridge is rated for a certain number of pages at 5% page coverage in which would be comparable to brief memo, small body of text and closure. As most users print pages with more graphics, gray scales and large amounts of text, which result using more toner (average about 7% page coverage) to print the images. Moreover, the actual yields and rated yields often vary due to different operating environment. If typical users print 7% page coverage, which it has already reduced the yield by about 40%. Hence, for OEM toner cartridge is rated for 10,000 pages, you will most likely get around 6,000 pages on average.

14. I am getting poor quality images from the printer, how can I tell if it is a problem with on printer       or on the toner cartridge?
You should first change the toner cartridge at once and print several pages. If the poor quality pages still appear, it is mostly due to problem on printer. If the problem goes away, then it is problem on cartridge.
